89 XJ c106 connector
my c106 behind the front drivers headlight was shot, i have pictures, but they are terrible, and its just plastic rot. anyway, i removed the connector and straight wired them together. I am left with 3 wires that have no mates, one RED, its thick, definently a power wire, a brown thin wire, and a green and black. i have a Green already to green, i read that these were supposed to be twisted together for headlights. and the brows could go together, but it doesnt say where red goes

you are my hero. i have read all if your site for tips in general, thank you so much! and, I'm assuming since I dont have factory fogs, is that the reason i dont have a RED wire coming out of the rounded side of the plug, i have one going in on the Squared side, tape it off?
