I read that you can check the ecu codes by turning the key on, off, on, off, on and counting the blinks of the check engine light? It was running previously. She says the parts engine has been installed for around 4 years now.

OK, saw the vid. #1 is at the 5:00 position as viewed from the passenger side. 143624 clockwise. (the book is wrong).
The MAP sensor up there left of center on the firewall should have a tube going to the rubber plug on the inside of the tb. OR any intake manifold vacuum. VERY important that, the vacuum to the map. (and the firing order)

Will check:
Engine ground
Vacuum lines
MAP sensor
Coil
Different battery
I don't have an fsm, can anyone provide the multimeter test for the coil? Any good way to test the FPM without special tools?

Ground is good, I took it off and cleaned it just in case.
Vacuum line is connected from MAP to throttle body.
I took off the coil and all the connections are clean.
I tried a different battery with no change in how it cranks.
Fuel pump is definitely working. I can hear it engage when the key goes on and there is fuel on the plugs.
I'm at a loss.
Gremlins?

For CPS sensor I first check using ohms for a range of 175-225. It's pulling 202. Next I check AC volts (my multimeters lowest setting is 200) and check for a value of .5-.9 while cranking. It shows 0. I quoted that from memory. I've been eating, breathing, and dreaming this stuff since I started diagnosing.
For the coil, since I don't have an fsm, I don't know how to properly test it. I've not used dcv at any point. Does anyone has the fsm and can copy the coil test and values to this thread?

There was a reason I'd asked if she has had it running since the engine swap. And, without a signal from the cps, it won't do anything right. It might be a great vid to show what an HO pattern does for the CPS/ECU in a Renix. I don't know! (of course) Just something to rule out.
