88 cherokee: voltage regulator
Can I replace the voltage regulator without removing the alternator?
I'm relatively tech savvy, but I don't like to do anything too involved. The other day I replaced my old battery and once the new one was in, I noticed my voltage was going as high as 18-19 volts. According to the various help websites, I have a bad voltage regulator. I'm really not comfortable messing with the belts, so I was wondering if there's an easy way to do this.
Thanks!

Swap in a quality rebuilt or have your local generator shop rebuild yours.
