Default 8.8 and it's disc brakes

so plans are being made to swap out in an 8.8 with disc brakes. are any major changes needed to the brake system to make the disc brakes work with a jeep that had drum brakes originally

When I did my rear brake disc conversion it wouldn't even lock the back tires up on pure ice until I put a ZJ proportioning valve on. Didn't have to touch the master cylinder.
