i have no clue what this is

it looked like there was a little bit of fluid on the top of it,where it connects to the wires. should there be fluid in there or do i need to replace it?

That is your air charge sensor... has nothing to do with any fluids, and runs about 25-30 bucks usually.

That is the MAP Sensor, and what type of fluid, it could have that stuff that prevents corrorsion.

it looked like there was a oil or something black on the tip of it, where there ball is at

Just clean it out with carb cleaner or something...they get crud on it overtime (blowby etc) -- it's normal. Just clean it up and put it back in, no need to really replace it unless it's physically damaged.
