Default 4 wheel drive
The 4 wheel drive works fine, but when I disengage, it doesn't want to come out. It seems the right side is still engaged. Any ideas? This is on the 97 Grand Cherokee.

You should state the engine, tranny and TC style that you have so we can get an idea of what you're working with

Which transfer case. If you have the full time 4wd case it could the viscous coupler dying.
