2000 xj loud clunck

Default 2000 xj loud clunck
I own a 2000 xj and when I hit bumps or turn sharp there is a loud cluck from the front end... Any ideas?

Is it a 4WD ? Lots of things up front to make the noise you describe. Loose track bar on the frame end was where mine made noise. How many miles on it ?

I just replaced the bushings on my front sway bar, now the only thumping I hear is from the back.

It is 4wd and it only has 80666 miles

Get under there and start shaking stuff. Bad bushings are obvious and easy to replace.
