You may have a clogged Heater core try the prestone radiator flush. make sure to follow the direction exactly.

Is the Temperature control a Dial/**** or is it a lever / Cable ??

The reason I ask is because I just had to replace the Air Blend acuator on my 2000. The temp control would make no difference in the air temp.

If you have a lever and cable type your OK if you have the **** then you also have a servo motor that moves the Air blend door to control the air temp..

Does the Hot/Cold control make any difference when you change from cold to hot ??

Unhook both heater core hoses. put the water hose in one of the hoses and get good pressure flowing through then switch tot the other hose and repeat until you are sure you have cleaned the hoses out pretty good. If It dont improve the heat then I would start thinking my heaer core is bad or my comtrols/vaccum is messed up. My .02

Hey, I just found this thread because I am researching the same problem in my 2001 Cherokee. I haven't had heat for over a year, but I live in Florida so it's not an issue. A couple weeks ago my A/C stopped blowing cold. The compressor engages, there is condensation on the lines, the low side pressure is fine. The only thing I noticed is that I cannot hear the blend door move when I turn the temp dial. I don't remember now if I used to be able to, but I read somewhere that you should be able to hear it. Any ideas?

I've found a lot of info on GC's with dual climate control which I don't have, but not much info on my jeep. Thanks guys!
