1998: auto CEL codes on a manual?

1998: auto CEL codes on a manual?
I am getting P1698 (no trans bus signal) and a P1899 (NSS) on a 98 manual with PCM P56041 534AD. Any ideas? Is there a list of part numbers for PCMs on 98s? I found them for 2000s
Also all the gauges just stopped working. They had worked until today. I did a "push on the cluster" trick and it worked....for about an hour. Related?

534AD is for a 4.0 with AW4 transmission.
'98 PCM 4.0 with manual transmission/Federal Emissions is 56041 531AB. With California Emissions - 56041 532AB.
