Exclamation 1991 cherokee help?!?!

I recently purchased a 91 Cherokee Laredo for $500, it has 212(k) miles. It was sitting for about 3 years, came with bad gas and no maintainence had been done for those three years besides what was necessary. It has been having some troubles starting and running. It is running better than when I first bought it, but stalls randomly when driving or idling. Can someone help me narrow down what is going on?

All of the following have been done in the last mile or two:

1) Oil Change
2) Oil Filter Change
3) Spark Plug Change
4) Spark Plug Wires Changed
5) Fuel Filter Change
6) Serpentine Belt replacement
7) Battery

However when I first bought it, the seller said that there was some water in the gas so we siphoned it and added about 5 gallons of new gas with a bottle of heet.

Some other people say that it may be the catalytic converter causing the problem.

HELP ME PLEASE

Borrow gauge from Vatozone, connect to the schrader valve on the fuel rail.

I'd say it might be a fuel pump or possibly bad injectors.

Here's a good how to check list. I'm terrible at directions. It's most likely your fuel pump, but if not you may have build up on the injectors. I'd say a can of Seafoam or LucasOil couldn't hurt.

So it doesn't sound like the catalytic converter?

On idle, the fuel pressure at the rail is ~32 psi, with vac disconnected on the regulator, the pressure is ~40 psi.

Rusty, give as much info as possible of the jeeps symptoms.
You will have more people responding with suggestions.
Do the recco'd fuel pressure check and post the results.
Follow the help that suggests testing first, before just replacing parts.
