Hey guys .... serious XJ rookie question...

What is the , or is there a, trick to removing the bottom intake manifold bolts? I can't see them or feel them. I have the exhaust system on a jack stack so it won't fall when I get everything loosened. Should I remove the exhaust manifold bolts?

Apologies for my rookie-ness...

Chap

On my 89 the intake and exhaust used the same bolts, just pull em all off cause your gonna want that exhaust out of the way when your pulling the head
