why doesnt my avatar work?

I've tried setting my avatar but it wont show when I post or make a thread. please help.

Go to :
USER CP

On left side menu click Edit Avatar

TOP SECTION::

YOUR CURRENT AVATAR.

Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
*Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.

You will need to DE-SELECT the "DO NOT USE AN AVATAR button.

Have you de-selected it. Its highlighted as a default.
Alot of people miss that...including yours truly.

If you havent de-selected it, the forum will automatically stop the avatar you have selcted from being displayed.
