Working on selling a part. Questions, answers, dickering tends to add length to a PM.

For the RECORD, I try to keep it all in a single PM.

This morning I received this message "The text that you have entered is too long (5220 characters). Please shorten it to 5000 characters long."

Might we get it bumped up to 15,000. My deal should finish in the 6000 character range. Figuring 15,000 should cover it if the deal was more detailed.

Add in there some pleasant conversation along the way...dickering about price...complaining about the price of crude oil, how politicians suck and who will be the next president...you get the idea...a deal can go a long way in PMs.

Excluding that last paragraph...The deal has taken 2 PMs of quoted txt for the record and about 7k in characters.

Guessing 15k should cover it in the future...If it doesn't, I don't have SQUAT to complain about

Sorry guys, I've been out of town all week.

5,000 characters is a lot actually... I went ahead and changed it to 10,000 characters but I doubt I'll go above that. When you get a lot of members down the road it can get out of control quick.
