I read that thread, and for a rook, thats a very high road to take, and I respect you for that.

However, my gripes have nothing to do with members, nor any of the drama threads I don't even open, heck most of the oldies that I knew are gone. My issues lay with the upper management, not the members.

If it wasn't 5 years ago, I woulda looked into it for ya.

I met many of my closest friends on NAXJA, I regularly hang out with them every week. It is a great community and they actually do good for the sport by putting the membership dues back into the community and towards land use issues (unlike this place which is more geared towards profits and padding pockets). If you become a paying member the perks are great, If you arent active, its just different colored name, but if you show up to events you will soon realize it is worth the 30 bucks (or whatever) a year.

Yea I'm a moderator here, and I've been here since this place was a few days old, but i prefer NAXJA and would recommend anyone to check it out.

.

Spam purge from years ago, you must have rarely/never posted. Lots of lurkers got caught up in that.. all it takes is a PM to a MOD asking for your account to be reactivated. If you'd like PM me your screenname and password..it'll be activated and you then reset your new password.

Like when I go on NAXJA, I never found like an introduction thread to meet people or anything, the southeast chapter has a few ride events but it's not what I was looking for... Still getting used to it lol

Look in the SEC section for a sticky..

The NAC has a sticky for intro's but it's not a requirement. You could always start a thread saying hello...

I believe theres also a sticky in the members section once you join.. i think.

As a member of both sites i agree. I will say that NAXJA is not so drama ridden, but the reason i came here was the maryland thread.
