I also never met him, only knew about his Jeep and followed his progress. It is very very sad to loose such a young upbeat Kid who entlightend so many people here on this forum. I myself have a kid his age and would not know what to do in such a case. My condolences go out to his family and friends.

This is extremely sad and heartbreaking news. I read through his build thread many times and always thought he seemed like a great Guy.

As a close friend of Brian's I felt compelled to create an account solely to comment on this thread. All of his friends and family are taking this extremely hard. All of the love and support on this thread is an honest comfort in this very difficult time. I've been reading ever comment on this page and it is more than obvious that his personality more than showed through in the ways he has touched and affected everyone on this forum.
There is no confirmation yet on the findings of the investigation but none of his friends can find it in their hearts to believe the rumor is true. I talked to him two nights before this tragedy and in asking how it was going he replied, "Its an amazing weekend!" and then in true Brian fashion, sent me a picture of the new tires he put on his baby.
The viewing is being held Tuesday and the ceremony Wednesday. I ask you all to continue to keep his friends and especially his family in your thoughts and prayers as we struggle to find a way to accept what has happened.

Still can't stop thinking about this- I don't even know why, I didn't know the guy personally, just a bit through CF (And not even really directly), I just can't get it out of my head, I mean I was just recently reading posts he made. Heck, just nine days ago I was bursting out laughing at his YKYDAXJW post about carrying 6 spares.
And I really hope this isn't in bad taste to say but, so what's gonna happen to project Black Sky?

Wow this is terrible news... like many I didn't know him well but always enjoyed all he contributed. If a sticker or fund or whatever is decided on I want in.
RIP Brian you will be missed.
