CherokeeForum Update!
Hey guys,
Tonight we are going to be updating CF's vBulletin software from 3.6.7 to 3.7.0, this will bring CF's software up to date and allow us access to several new features. As a result of this later on tonight CF will have some downtime so that we can properly update. CF will be down approximately from 1 am PST until 2am PST. Thanks for your understanding.

Great news. Hope to be asleep during those hours. Can you give us a preview of the updates new features and how that will affect the members?
Thanks again Kyle.

Deverhart has another forum that he runs, you may have noticed it linked at the bottom of CF. But go to www.talkhandbags.com and you can take a look at the profiles there. Our new profiles will look very similar.

initially you should see no major differences after the upgrade... which is partially in progress now :-). At most i expect that we will see a few broken graphic links and such until I make some tweaks to the updated templates. after that we will start turning on additional features slowly and introducing them to the community... Lots of fun stuff, and we have been holding out on doing some stuff around here until this release as it has more tools for us.

There are others but we haven't figure out how exactly we want to use some of this stuff yet.

I like it. It has a lot of more detailed info than I had expected.
This should probably go under suggestions but I thought it might be related to the update.
Can we have a section in the profile where we have listed which model the member has and the refinements made to it. Things like 4/6 cylinder manual/auto, 242/231 etc...
We could use that when someone posts a question and this data is omitted. We can update it as we make improvements to our Jeeps. Whacha think Kyle & dev?
