These pics are from this past weekend. They are reopening a lot of trails. You can get on "friends of Boone" Facebook page for downloadable maps. It's very scenic with Offroad from the mild to the wild!

Yes. It's Kentucky. It's one of kentuckys secrets. They are all county roads so your rig needs to be Street legal with proper registration and insurance.

I live in Louisville and have been a rock climber in the Red River Gorge for years. I'd always see these crazy vehicles with huge tires down there and wonder where they all go. I've had my jeep now for almost a year. It gets me to a lot of climbing spots that others have to hike really far to get to. But I've always wondered where the wheelers convene on the Internet. I'll have to look into that Boone website.
The Red is gorgeous this time of year. Can't wait to get back.

If you do go off-roading there I would recommend that you have a winch on your rig the trails can get nasty with big rocks (sandstone)
