Default Hurricane creek nc

Went to hurricane yesterday and they been smoothing over the trail they even blocked off the mud pits! Any info on what's going on and why they are doing this?!

Primarily because it's private land that folks keep abusing. People are lucky that the road is still there. This is why MOST of our trails are getting closed down. Folks can't stay on the damn trails and clean up after themselves.

That sucks that was the only place I could go to is there anywhere else in Wnc that's legal?

The Globe and Highway 105 are both state maintained roads that are legal to drive on, there are hairy spots on both from what I hear, I want to make a trip up there soon

Around Boone I believe, I also know there's Richland Rd and Sampson Rd up there. I've also been informed that Highway 105 is now like a dirt road that a car can get down. I have a friend that recently went to Richland Rd, it's still pretty rough

The is a little place inrutherford county about 600 acres....dont remember the name but its right outside of Cliffside....I will try to look it up for you

Found it....lake hauser adventures. ?.$7 to get in...mostly quad trails but decent enough trails for jeeps

I go to Richland road. It's a good trail. The globe is mostly dirt roads cause I lived there. Brown mountain ohv off of adako road in collettsville is another place but it's a $5 pass.
