3 wks, 13 trails; Part 5 - Tower Arch 3/30/09

Trail #5 was Tower Arch. This is another trail I have done a TR for already so I will just post pics and not a description. This time we managed to get a decent sized group of people together for this trail run. Some were from Jeep Forum and others were friends of theirs. I was the leader since I was the only one out of the group that had run the trail before. Before we begin lets meet the group.

After having breakfast at Denny's and getting to know each other we headed out to Arches National Park for our first of 2 trails that day. We were originally going to enter the park via Willow Springs Road for a little extra wheelin but by this time we were running late. We also wanted to hit Fins and Things this day so we decided to just go through the main park entrance.

We didn't take a ton of pics on this trail since we were all having too much fun and it was a pretty short run.

After hanging out at the arch for a while we headed out the long way past Eye Of The Whale Arch

We were originally going to hike to Eye Of The Whale but due to time we figured we would skip it and head out to Fins and Things. We went our separate ways and agreed we would meet up again in an hour or so for lunch at the start of fins. I will leave you with one more pic of the Windows section of Arches from the Eye Of The Whale Arch trailhead.
