I bought some 784s from "d50" last week. He also had a set of 703s at the time. I'm not sure if they're still for sale or not.

Just friendly advice, but there's really no reason to do the swap. Used, dirty injectors are usually the only reason a factory injector would perform worse. They can be cleaned up with Seafoam. It's not an upgrade or anything and doesn't improve fuel efficiency or power or anything like that.

They flow the same as factory injectors and the 4.0L isn't the type of engine that can benefit from "spray patterns."

Ask me how I know – I tried 784 injectors, Ford orange-top injectors, and more. Fuel mileage never changed and power never changed.

Idk about the the 784s since you have more pressure at the rail. But as for the 703s the 4 port holes help with better atomization of the fuel. I can't comment on mileage, but as far as response and a little more pep is what I've gained. They are IMHO a worth while upgrade. But this is only for the 703s as I don't have any experience with the 784s

As in running Seafoam through them, or pulling them and soaking them?

Doing a little of both'll never hurt. That cleans out the interior, as well as the exterior for looks.

There is no free lunch. There is a lot of hype on forums across the board and whoever came up with the idea became really rich because of it. Kind of like Throttle Body Spacers.

Basically, and many EFI & Carburetor junkie experts will tell you this, spray pattern (fuel atomization) has no relevance to this type of engine. Engines that benefit from spray pattern are direct injected engines. Had Chrysler seen the need for this type of injection system in the 4.0L, it would have come with it. This type of intake and injection system will spray gasoline inside the engine cylinder until its actually used, and during this time, gravity sends it pooling down onto the piston until it is burned. So it really doesn't matter if it is sprayed like a mist or squirted like a super-soaker gun since it all gets to the same place and burns the same way.

Nonetheless, I kept my 784 injectors in my Jeep because they were brand new (not used) and in better shape than my factory. It didn't improve anything, but it's also not hurting anything. So if you choose to do the swap or want to keep it that way, more power to you.
