Here's what I did to mine. Had to fill in some holes before panting, but I think it turned out pretty good and I don't have to worry about the fabric coming off again:

I have this complete overhead console with brackets, wiring harness, and ambient temperature sensor. Asking $100 +shipping. It does need to be recovered (as most of them do) or you can paint it like I did mine (see 2nd pic)

Yes, this is the correct OEM overhead console. Jeep made only 2 versions of the overhead console for the Cherokee; this one, that was used through '96 and another that was used from '97 on.

I appreciate that. but I keep finishing more issues I want to take of... lol interior lighting will have to wait.
