My 97 xj (with all manual locks) is missing pieces off of the rear hatch lock. I'm looking for a complete assembly to canabalize to make mine work. Need the rods and everything. Previous owner decided instead of fixing it they would just tie it together with a hair tie...

so yeah, jeep got broken into this morning, while they didnt go in through the back hatch, I'd like to get this taken care of so I can lock it. missing about $300 worth of tools and my brand new $600 prescription sunglasses...

I'm sure there's a way to use power locks and just turn the key. I never use power locks. I just turn the key to my hatch.

I think I can get one I'll have to go to the jy and check but I'm more then positive it's still there. The power one will work also since the key opens the rear door also. The only thing your not adding is the power to a cam.

cool, I was uncertain about that for sure or not. I need all the rods/clips i can get too. gotta frankenstein this back together lol

The power and manual are the same looked at both today at the jy, anyone that's posted about it has the parts. You need I'll only pull if your positive you want them. I'd post a picture but for reason it won't let me.
