Hi all,


I'm looking for a factory swing out tire carrier.


Really need it complete with mounting brackets and inner bracing hardware.


Only a few JYs near me and they will not let you enter the yard to have a look around.

Yeah...I saw that write up and a fine job.


My problem is I don't have access to a welder and good fab tools, nor a JY to get the carrier in the first place. That's why I'm looking for a mostly complete setup.


All the JYs near me will not allow one to enter the yard and look around.

I have one for sale, but I live in Toledo Oh 43612. I'm asking $100 for the complete set up and the rear bumper. The part is also on craigslist. Its the older style which wraps around the quarter panel. I have no idea what it would cost to ship though. PM me or look me up via the craigslist ad

Always baffled me how junk yards won't let you shop.
How do they sell anything?
Impulse buying is a good way to make money.

Yes they are paranoid about theft of small parts and I get that.

All my local junk yards let you walk around all day.. Take what you want and they give you a price

Yeah here they claim it is insurance restrictions.

I think I know of one yard here that you look for the item... Then go inside to have them pull it. But they claim they are "self serve".
