Default Looking for 2wd trans 96 cherokee

The 2wd transmission went out in my 1996 jeep cherokee and I csnt find anything online. Lemme know if you can help me get my jeep back on the road. Will pay for shipping from anywhere. Located in Las Vegas.

Have you thought about getting a 4wd transmission & t case?
You could convert the front later or not at all.

Drive shaft, yes. TCU, no.

You'd need the transmission, t-case and drive shaft from the same Jeep.

While you're at it, go ahead and get the front shaft and the front axle.

was looking online and came across a 92 cherokee with a bad motor. will that 2wd trans bolt right up now problems orelated am I going to run it to problems? like different gearing, output shafts splines, TCU, etc...

t should be fine. I know 4wd transmissions goes like this 91-96, 97, then 98-01. I assume same goes for 2wd trans too
