98 Cruise Control Switches
I recently purchased an OEM cruise control setup from a forum member for my 98 XJ. However, the switches are from a 97 and aren't sending the right signal to the computer because the brake light switch isn't getting the incoming power for the cruise. So, I'm looking for the switches from a 98 (56007530AC and 56007531AC). I'm even willing to trade my 97 switches.

To be technical, the 97 part ends in AB, 98 ends in AC, and 99-01 ends in AD so there are three breaks. I have read people have used the AC part in a 97, but I have yet to find anybody state they have successfully used the AB part in a 98. I also stated in the first post that the brake light switch is not getting the power from the computer so it has absolutely nothing to do with vacuum (the cruise servo gets its power from the brake light switch).

I have successfully used AB in my 98, as that what was on it before I took it off to change the steering wheel. There is only one break as far as parts working, sure maybe the letters at the end are different, but AC and AB work for any 97-98, if not there's something else wrong.

I've still got the AB ones that came off my jeep, as well as an AC set laying around. Both were working before I took them off, PM if you're interested we can work something out.
