The switch in my rear dome light is burnt out and I can't seem to find a functional replacement.

If you have a dome light with a functioning switch, I'd gladly purchase it from you.

Most of the time it isn't the switch on the dome light that's faulty. It's the wiring somewhere.

The light comes on when I open the hatch only if I have other doors open also, so I think the wiring is fine. The switch looks like it's burnt out. I'm not sure if I can open it up and fix something. I'd gladly buy a new or used one if I could find one that functions. Turns out to be a pretty common problem with these light switches.

Yeah I have exact same problem... I have other jeeps with functioning dome lamps and switched them out. Still didn't work and the one from my jeep worked on other jeeps. The problem lies inside the hatch itself. My friends have same issues. They thought their dome light switches aren't working until they swapped to the known working jeep and it works

That's odd.. If I open any side doors my dome light comes on, if I open the hatch door I don't get any dome lights
