yakima roof rack bars
first thing first im in and shipping from kankakee il, 60901 i have a set of yakima roof rack bars not sure what series. i was lucky enough to snag these out of a junk yard so im letting them go for cheap,i dont have they keys or the all the metal strips to tighten the allen bolts down on.but they are in ok shape and still fit the stock rails fine.
That being said im selling these for 40$ plus shipping.

what metal strips do you mean (that are missing? do they stay down on an XJ just fine without worries or would they need new locking ends?

when i got it it only had one and i couldnt say for sure they come with it new,its a small 1x3in maybe 1\4in thick piece of alum.that sits on the inside of the foot pad and theres two allen head bolts that tighten down on it to keep the rack in place. without them the rack can move front to back(IT DOSE TAKE SOME FORCE TO MOVE)

52" bars with locking Q-towers.
little metal tabs that go under the Q-towers can be bought from yakima
To get a key for the towers is going to cost about $20 from a lock smith.
I got a set of 48" from the JY and had the same situation before putting them on my XJ. Just thought I'd try to help.

I'm interested. How much are the tabs from Yakima going to run? Can the bars be mounted without unlocking the mounting tab?
