I might be able to get the hitch off the Jeep, but there is NO WAY that I'm getting the head of that hitch out of the receiver. There's way too many years of Michigan rust holding it in place, and I don't have anything at my disposal to get that hitch out.
If I'm selling the hitch, it's being sold "as is" as a single unit.
The front shafts are a two piece. There is a U-joint on both shafts.

Just some more info for you.....
I think he was asking if the axle shafts were from a vacuum disconnect axle or not. Providing the axle under that jeep is original, they should not be disconnect shafts. The d30 with vacuum disconnect was only used until '91... anything prior should have one piece shafts.
**Due to these being front shafts, they have to have u joints. If they didn't have u joints, you wouldn't be able to turn the wheels. If these were disconnect shafts, the longer (passenger) shaft would actually be three pieces.

Lol, thanks again! You can tell that I've never owned a Jeep.
I'll revisit the front axle once we get the drive train pulled, and then roll the Jeep where it needs to be for the scrapper to come pick it up. I really don't want to take apart the suspension or axles until the Jeep is where I need it to be. I'll get pics of the axles and things then.
I took it off the door, and it's not worth even giving away. Years of Michigan rust has rendered it useless.

Just an option for you, on these jeeps you can pull the front axle shafts, bolt the hubs back on, and roll wherever you please. You can't drive them like that because the hub would eventually pull apart without an axle nut, but you will be 100% fine rolling it wherever you need to. Pull the axle nut, pull the three bolts holding the hub assembly on, pop that hub off and your shafts are free. Put the three bolts back in the hub, mount your wheels and roll at will.

Is the passenger window switch still up for grabs? and does it have rke? And if the headliner is still in decent shape what would you be asking for that?
Thanks

Sold.
I still have the hitch, and I'm looking for $100 + shipping for it as is. Due the the sheer weight of the thing, shipping wouldn't be cheap!
Passenger switch is sold, remote keyless never worked, and the headliner is trashed.
I have the trim, but the clip that holds the lowest screw is broken. The trim doesn't hold tight to the A pillar.
