Full part out of a '98 Jeep Cherokee XJ Sport (revisited)
Name: Mike Robertson
Phone Number: Upon Request

Parts: PM me.
My roommate asked me to take over the parting out of his Jeep, as his work schedule kept him from following up on the requests for parts he was receiving. So if this Jeep part out looks familiar, that's why.
Do to time and a new vehicle he acquired, he decided to part out his XJ Sport. Here is a small list of parts he recently replaced.
-Windshield
-Outer tie rod end (still in box)SOLD!
-Water pump
We'll be parting out the Jeep over the course of the next couple of weeks. If there's anything you want or need, reply in this thread or PM me and we'll discuss availability and price. All parts are sold on a "first person to produce cash gets the part" basis. Anything that's left after a couple of weeks will be hauled off to a local scrapper to be crushed.
Parts that are already sold:
-Fuel pump module
-Tow hooks
-AC high and low lines
-AC low pressure switch
-Passenger headlight bezel
-Passenger turn signal light
-Passenger side marker
-Temp sensor connector
-Passenger's side mirror
-Radiator
-ECU/PCM/ECM
-Passenger's tail light
-Visors
-Instrument cluster
-Center console ash tray
-Aux radiator (A/C) fan
-Headlight switch
-Passenger's window switch
-Cruise control buttons
-Clock spring
-Front passenger dew wipes
-Rear defrost switch
-Grill
-Header panel
-Cowl
-Turn signal switch
-Wiper switch
-Rear wiper switch
-Rear defrost switch
-Driver's window switch
-Driver's side mirror
-Trailer hitch wiring harness
-Driver's side front marker light
-Alternator
-Front drive shaft
-Fog light switch panel
-Front door hinges
-Power steering pump bracket
-Driver's side rear door lock & actuator
-Catalytic converter
-Passenger outer tie rod
-Center dash (radio) bezel
Here's a pic of what the Jeep looked like when my room mate was driving it.
Here's what it looks like today.
As you can see, the part out is well under way, and parts are going fast. If there's anything you need, email me, or reply to this thread or PM froggie - as I'll keep an eye on all three. I'll keep this thread updated on what's sold, as to avoid wasting yours or my time.
Thank you,
Mike R.

The center console latch is broken.
The Jeep does not have a gas tank skid plate, but it does have a pretty beefy hitch on it, and it has a weight distribution head with spots on the left and right for cam bars. As you can see, there is quite a bit of rust on it from years of Michigan's salty roads; but I've been spraying down the mounting bolts with penetrating oil, so we should be able to get the hitch off. Here are the pics of the hitch.
Let me know if you're interested, and if you are - PM me your offer.

Did the windows work from every door or just from the drivers door? If they all worked, how much for the driver door window switch unit shipped to 18103?

He replaced the driver's window switch (with one from a junk yard) last summer, and all windows worked after replacing that switch. The replacement switch never did plug in all the way for some reason, and all windows stopped working just before he parked it. It could be the switch that quit, or something with the wiring as that switch would not plug in all the way.
Either way, I can't sell that switch in good conscience. If you want to try it, you can have it for the cost of shipping.

A quick search makes it seem like that seat would fit all 84-01 XJ's, although you'd want to contact your local dealer to make sure that a '98 seat will fit your Jeep.
As seen in the 3rd pic, there is a tear in the seat - plus it could use a good cleaning. The seat is manual, NOT power. We'd sell it for $25 + shipping.
