Default 82 AMC Concord wagon DL - $600

I know it's not a Jeep, but AMC did own 'em for a while. Anyway,

1982 AMC Concord wagon D/L
4.2 I6 with 146k
5 speed (needs to be replaced/rebuilt. Friend blew out 2nd and 3rd gears. a T-5 from an 80's S-10 or Mustang will work.)
Green ext w/ tan, leather interior
Captain's chairs w/power driver's seat
Rebuilt the engine at 133k (new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, ignition, valves, lifters, crank shaft, and valve cover).
AMC Turbocast rims with newer tires (85% tread)
New front coils, ball joints, tie-rods, rear leafs, shocks, exhaust.
I'm the 2nd owner (my grandfather was the first) and it was my DD for about 4 years until I got my Jeep. Never had an issue 'til my friend ruined the tranny. Body, engine, and interior are all in great shape.
I don't have the $$ for the tranny so I just want to get rid of it. Not parting out. Pick up only.
$600
Virginia Beach, VA 23454
Open to trade for rock rails+cash, front winch bumper, snorkel+cash to put on my '99 XJ.

yes it is. The Eagle's came with 4wd. I'd never get rid of it if it was an Eagle.

Damn I'd love to take it as a project car/DD, but I have no way of getting it to Pa. Looks clean too

Figured out a way I can tow it (U-haul wasn't going to let me rent a dolly), so I'm willing to travel a little ways to meet up and hand it over. 4 hours will put me just north of D.C., right around Lynchburg, and out near Stanton, VA. Let me know if you want to meet up around anything about 4 hours out from Va Beach to get it.

Cool

I used to rebuild those transmissions years ago. I do have a few stupid questions:
Is the headliner intack or falling down, and is there any rust concerns that may need attention right away.........I have access to a tow truck so I don't think coming down all that way would be to bad. ...

Not stupid q's at all. The headliner is fully intact and holding up nicely. There are two small rust spots - both are surface only - one at the very top of the windshield on the driver's side, and the other is at the bottom rear corner of the driver's side cargo area window. Both of these are typical rust spots for the Concords, and even with fixing - which I did about 5 years ago trying to get it into a good dd condition - they tend to come back over time.
