6000k is the normal color and is pretty much standard. Special colors can be done but most likely wont be offered as there is additional cost added in.

can we get some light output comparison shots of the 27W floods vs the 27W Spots?? maybe something like shooting into a field or something. I'd like to see the difference to make my choice that much easier to decide....

Agreed, I am also in the market, particularly for a bar to sit on my front bumper. Been looking at quite a few companies and what they offer in the 10"-12" range, not many offer quality pictures of what their products can do. I've seen your pictures but almost all of them include shots from far away with what seems to be rock lights under the body. What I would really like to see are a couple comparison pictures from INSIDE the XJ. Pictures with just the led bars on, nothing else and maybe a rundown with pictures of all your lights offered. This will greatly improve your company's ability to move product considering the lack of competition from other companies not providing these type of pictures. Thanks.

They don't do it because 9 times out of 10 a picture will not do a light justice.
You just have to see them in person.
I can take 2 pictures of the same light with the same camera and make one look like a 3 dollar flash light and the other look like the light on the front of a train.
Pictures just aren't the best way to decide on a light.
Lumen output is what you want to see.

Dsach, since you're quite avid about answering questions (I like that. You don't get that often.) I'll ask you one.

I'm a photographer, I know all about manipulating a picture but if this is an honest company they wont do such a thing. Not being able to see the light in person the next best things are photos and video, yes both of which can be edited to change how they look. I agree, lumens are a good source for telling how strong a light is but then again that can easily be manipulated too. How far of a distance are they testing the lumen out-put? Those numbers drastically change after a certain distance. What it comes down to is whether you can trust a company or not. So im going to trust a company more if they are themselves and their equipment on the line.

LOL Yeah, a tripod and the right amount of extended exposure will make anything light up like it was daylight.

OK I have some pictures. I have been a Photographer most of my life and agree that it is very easy to make pictures look better. I have brought along many different people from this forum and others to help to compare. We spent about 45 min alone trying to figure out the right exposure to ensure accuracy of what we saw with our eyes to what the pictures looked like. I'm putting together the pictures and will have them up shortly for you guys.
My Stuff Vs Rigid.... Well honestly I don't know why the price are so much different. The goal of Olympus is to create and market products that appeal to the little guys of the Off Roading world. We want to
provide options for people that don't have thousands to spend. We will be launching many different products soon and will be doing our best to keep our prices low and quality high.
We have a really nice product for all the XJ/MJ guys launching soon that will be a fast seller for sure!!

I understand where everyone is coming from with the pictures, and saying that they wont be as accurate as in person. I get that, And I agree...I was more looking for an idea of the output (distance and pattern). I'm in Canada, so dropping a couple hundred bucks on lights that are "new" to the market is kind of unnerving to me. I dont want to get stuck with a light that I dont like...know what I mean? I appreciate the input as well. I was just looking for an idea of the differences in the lights.
