Made from 2x4 11 ga., they fit tight up against the pinch weld screwing thru that into the inside of the slider, then 8 3/8 self tapping screws thru the frame rail, they stick out about 1.5" and are finished with Bedliner like my bumpers... estimated install time 30 minutes, these are 60" long run from stock flare to flare but can make them longer apon request... also available in 2x6 for $25 more, and you always do have the option of bolting them thru the frame rail but with the brake lines being place where they are on our XJ i prefer the self tapping method

if anyone needs any other pictures let me know.... I didn't mount to the pinch weld I used 8 bolts to the frame, I'll mount to the pinch weld before I take it offroad. Very strong and well built sliders and a great price.

Did you use a backing plate on the other side of the uniframe rail? Have you hit them off road yet and did your mounting hold up to it? These are just what I am looking for, but honestly don't understand how the uniframe hold up to the leverage, on this or other mounting systems.

Thanks,

John

I did not use a backing plate and have not had them offroad yet (installed them last week), I will figure a way to get them through the pinch weld before I beat on them, but the design is good and as soon as I can get them through the pinch weld they will have no problem taking a beating. They are beefy and a great price!

So if were to buy these in 1 month from now. Would they be able to withstand being beaten? Are you running these on your xj? if so, how have they held up. I will buy a set within a month or 2. How much for shipping to 97124?
