If you are thinking about a mechanical locker and not sure which one to go with, let me help you figure that out.

Now Spartan lockers have a few "perks" that no other mechanical locker offers.

1). They ALL come with hardened cross pin shafts

2). Install is much faster and quicker with Spartans as they come with pins that actually hold the locker together. So making install seemless and easy.

3). You do NOT have to reuse your thrust washer. I repeat, do NOT have to reuse your thrust washers.

My 99XJ came w LSD in the C8.25, what do you offer?

I would actually leave that LSD in the rear and lock the front. You want to be pulled through the obstacles and not pushed. I can get sell you a Dana 30 spartan for $238 with free shipping! While our supplies last.

With the LSD in the rear that is great. Unless you want to put a locker both front and rear. You can but in order to run a spartan you will need to to put in an open carrier.

Just wanted to double check, pretty sure you emailed me. Do they make a spartan locker for the C8.25 with LSD, that's what I have. I don't want a locker in the front, it's a daily driver, can't afford air lockers. So do you have anything that will fit my axle?

Sounds like to me you don't need to fix your axle. LSD in the rear is perfectly fine. Actually I would prefer you to put a locker in the front. Since you don't want to do air, and you don't want to put a Spartan in the front because it's your daily driver, you will have to buy a new open carrier plus the locker. OR I can sell you a Zip Locker (air locker) for your Dana 30. I can cut the price down. That will be the least expensive air locker that you can get into WITH a 6 year warranty even!
