Exclamation Introducing the BWE Ultimate XJ Steering Brace!

We've spent a considerable amount of time working on this product, with the end goal of eliminating one of the biggest problem areas commonly encountered when building an XJ...steering box flex. The symptoms usually show up as a broken spacer, cracked unibody, or even a destroyed steering box. The Ultimate Brace eliminates the problem by placing the sector shaft in double shear using a large 1 1/4" pillow block bearing. Securely attached to both uni-rails, our brace forms a substantial truss which effectively transfers the harsh shock loads evenly across the entire chassis, instead of twisting and tearing at the steering box. Unlike the cheap U bolt braces, ours won't place any preload on the steering box.

CNC cut and formed from 3/16" laser grade plate and .120" wall rect tube. Powder coated in a durable black wrinkle finish. 100% Mfg'd in the US. 1 Year Warranty.

In-stock and ready to ship!

$265 Shipped!

Optional SB drop brackets (required if you intend to keep your SB)

Just let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Thank you!

Awesome that someone finally started producing a brace that braces the sector shaft not just the box. Looks good!

We've had enough people ask for just the bearing and nut, that I've added it to the website...

Nice to see new stuff coming out for the XJ. That comp mount looks mighty interesting.

Thank you! New quality XJ products is what we're all about. There are enough XJ vendors out there selling cheap half-assed products knocked off from someone else (The U Bolt Steering Brace is a perfect example). We are NOT one of those companies. We currently have 6 other products in the works as well, all of which are 100% new.

I am looking forward to the bolt-on hidden winch system. Will this be compatible with the steering brace, or maybe incorporate the 'bearing and nut kit'?

It will actually have it's own bearing mount incorporated into it, so it does both jobs simultaneously. Also the mounting will be the same as our steering brace to allow for upgrading. It will even work with the stock bumper

killer product!!
Thank you!

Looks killer. Adding to my wish list!

You guys fairly new? I see not too much on the site, but definitely some interesting items. Looking forward to seeing more of your products.
