Sorry for the very late reply, lots of late nights here for me. These do not, in the case of a diff cover the gasket is absolutely neccessary for a stock, flexible cover. We machine ours flat so the gasket isn't needed. However, I use Lubelocker gaskets to not have to use RTV, they are by far the best. We do not sell them because the types of things we would have to ship with them would destroy them, I get mine directly from the Lube Locker company.

leaking fill plug
Dan,
I have both the D30 and Chrysler 8.25 covers on my 96 Cherokee. Both are great products! I love the look and the thought that my diff's are better protected by your heavy duty covers.
I am experiencing leakage from the fill plug on the Chrysler 8.25. Any suggestions as to what I can use to stop the leaking? Oil level is below my finger stuck at a downward angle in the hole. The plug is about as tight as I can make it...thanks for any suggestions! I'm thinking plumbers tape or ??
