Any unsolicited email or PM advertising is considered spam. We have hard line rules against spam on this site. Not only is it against the rules but it is highly unprofessional IMHO.

Now I am not afraid to remove a vendor and I have done it. So head my warning do not spam my members or you will no longer be welcomed on this site.

I will amend the vendor rules since this obviously has become a gray area.

Vendors can advertise in the vendor section and no where else on the site. Vendors may also advertise by posting to the official facebook group page. In the Wanted section if a member is looking for something you are welcome to post up you offer said product. How ever do not spam the thread simply post up you offer said product and PM me for details.

If this is not clear feel free to contact me and I will clarify the best I can.

Just to clarify.

Situation 1: Vendor sends a member a PM telling them about products even though the member never posted in the wanted section they were looking for anything. Basically randomly picking members for what ever reason to advertise products to.

This is bad.

Situtation 2: Member posts in wanted section they are looking for say new tie rod. Vendor sends a PM saying he I can help you out. This is what I offer and amt.

This situiation is OK.
